HILLSBOROUGH SALES ANALYSIS, FIRST HALF of the YEAR
Did you buy in Year 2003? The table below shows 2003 as a favorable year for buyers, as 2004 began a surge that is continuing now, as evidenced by the steadily increasing median sales prices. 2001 reflected a strong first half at the tail end of the dot-com glory days (check out the price per sq. ft.!!!), before 9/11 sucked the wind from the Fall market. Also interesting is the lack of $5M+ luxury sales in the first half of 2003.
