Quick update to my previous post on winter Hillsborough sales:
Hillsborough finished out January with an impressive 24 listings going sale pending between December 1st, 2010 and January 31, 2011. For this period last year (12/1/09-1/31/10) there were just 16 sales. This Dec/Jan. metric can be seen as a barometer for spring momentum to come. Buyers' perception of value is clearly centered on Hillsborough, where the price per sq. ft. delivers the most value in land, school scores, and upside potential.
